A Quiet but Widespread Challenge in Audit We Need to Start Addressing.

A quiet challenge in audit is the expectation that teams will resolve upstream issues without raising concerns. Late schedules, outdated templates, and incomplete work strain staff and increase quality risks. True audit excellence begins with clear communication, realistic planning, and a culture where issues are addressed early not silently absorbed.

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

Does anyone who switched from consulting to product management have any recommendations of h helpful PM books, courses, or programs?

Considering the FRM certification. Those who’ve taken it, how quant heavy is it? I have a compliance risk background and don’t have a deep math or statistics background. However, I want to expand my skillset. Any thoughts?
