There are bad account people.
Then again, there are bad creatives.

Sounds like you should chat with your account team 👀
Creatives are required to have a portfolio, or have gone to ad school, or to have read Hey Whipple Squeeze This by Luke Sullivan.
There’s no such requirements for account people. They are allowed to have completely unrelated degrees and there’s no real proof they can shepherd clients into approving great work, let alone keep agency staff happy and improve the agency’s reputation. There’s no requirement that they know how to work with planners and creative directors. There’s no way to figure out if they know how to handle difficult clients.
I think all account folks should be required to read “The Art of Client Service” by Robert Solomon. https://www.artofclientservice.com
Look up “subjectivity.”
I have Canva, does that count?
If you have skills like mine it does.
Also fucking bold actually having your name here.
