I was not sent an offer. the HR said that her budget is lower than my current CTC and I had already cleared my CTC expectations. I am doubting whether the HR was being fair to me and she could have given me an offer. Very disappointed. please set your expectations straight during the initial discussion itself

It’s a great opportunity but I have 2 young kids (Preschool/Elementary ages) and I don’t want to sacrifice time with them for career advancement. I would love to hear from working moms in senior leadership roles to understand if it’s possible to balance both, or is it best to wait a few more years?
