HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. Now HR is restarting my ET as a new employee. I realize I left, but not on bad terms and I am an exemplar and respected employee. Hi! Does anyone know what kind of knowledge is needed to crack the Data Scientist interview at Google?

I'm currently working in Marketing Analytics (primarily using SQL and a bit of pyspark). Apart from mastering SQL, I wanted to know from people working at Google what does it take to get there as a Data Scientist? (I'm very interested in Strategy Ops)

I plan to another 6-8 months in preparation and upskilling myself before I even apply.

The longer I do this job, the more I want to accept a tech job... no travel, same / better pay, no annoying clients...

I was hired a few months ago by D to do data science. I am not doing data science currently, is there a way I can switch roles internally? Should I talk to my coach? Or should I just start looking for a new job. I’m starting to feel that the field is so hot rn my small stint at D won’t be a big deal to other firms.

I have created Algorithmic Product/System for the client to take out inventory not-in-demand for long time to save storage expense and also provide an approach to prioritize Work Orders based on Market Demand. It’s more like an Manufacturing Plan. I want to get into Product Analyst/Lead role. What approach I should take? Any books to start with? Any events to attend? Any groups to join?
