After working on several SAP S/4HANA transformation projects within Big 4 consulting firms, I’ve observed recurring issues contributing to project delays and cost overruns:
1. Outdated senior expertise– SM anchored in ECC often produce suboptimal/incorrect designs, leading to rework/delays. There are ppl from SAP in project but they are only resp.for product not for consulting
2. Over-reliance on offshore teams – High turnover and cost-driven delivery create instability and inconsistent quality.

Is it possible to land a financial analyst position with only 6 months of experience in audit? I tried to stick it out w/ B4 but I don’t think I can do it anymore. I’m interested in duties like budgeting/forecasting, but haven’t come across very many entry level positions. I’m mostly seeing entry level jobs that are called “financial analyst” but include duties like JE/reconciliations. I don’t have SQL/Tableau experience either... so not sure if I just need more experience in a diff role first?

Is it common for Big 4 to hire from ordinary colleges? I’m genuinely curious since not a single partner that I’ve known comes from a Ivy League and almost all of them have a single degree. Culturally this is slightly odd for me since I come from a place where u needed to have pretty strong credentials to get hired and people at the top had them too, if not better.
