AI has huge promise, and I often use AI for learning and personal development: for anything ranging for my curiosity in astrophysics to philosophy. However, just like any other technology, it can also be used for wrong purpose. Multiple companies recently announced large job cuts due to AI replacing humans. There aren’t new jobs being created, just the existing ones being given to AI. How can society not collapse if this trend doesn’t stop, and spirals into becoming the norm?

Hello, Am confused with a few optns in my career growth. I have 2 offers in hand 1 from a tier 3 or tier 4 comp nt a start up. They're offering me a good package with so many career benifits like an onsite, opportunity, certification n good technology exposure. Another offer frm a reputed comp a tier 1 comp not an expectd package n benefits.
Few of my frnds are suggested if i choose a small company my opportunities in future will narrow down when compared to a reputed. Pls can someone help here?

One of the things that my ADD coach helped me with was realizing that I wasn’t prioritizing activities that help me feel recharged. Between work and home responsibilities, I was just burnt out and overwhelmed.

So now when I start to get burned out I focus on reducing auditory overwhelm, getting outside, listen to music, get comfortable, read a fun book, etc.

As we’re heading into the weekend, what are some things you do to recharge and give yourself a break?

For the NY CPAs out there- how long did it take to receive your license? I submitted my application in late October (incl. transcript, work experience form, etc.) but haven’t heard anything. Is this normal?

Duties would have me responsible for a small team of research nurses as well as other managerial duties for the department. I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.
