Thoughts on Debevoise for litigation?
Hello ZSers,
I have been shortlisted for AC role and my HR discussion is scheduled next week.
1. Need some insights on the maximum and minimum ctc (fixed and variable) that can be offered for 3 yoe (all relevant) . My current ctc is 7.2 (6.5 fixed) . Tech stack - Big data and AWS developer.
2. Is there any joining bonus. If yes , what should be the ask.
Any inputs will be very helpful for me to go with my expectations to the HR. Thanks!

Pulled out some vintage on a Sunday.

Time to DIVE into a deck.

In love with that deep green dial

Does anyone here know what model is this watch?

I would die with this watch

Get a prx or seiko 5. Buy the nice watch after you have a solid reputation so you’re not the staff who spent his first adult paycheck on a nice watch
Definitely agree with that, although either way I'm not planning on wearing the watch to work. I'll stick to my apple watch for that.
Pro
Buy a sub $500 watch to scratch the itch but save for what you really want (whether Rolex, omega, lange, etc) and skip on an intermediate watch like a longines or Tudor as it just wastes money and furthers your goal.
Oh my bad, agree 100% then. I haven’t bought a CW twelve for that reason
Never buy a watch for what other people might think... Buy whatever you like and can afford.
But in any case, a Longines is a nice watch but it is not flashy, no client is going to think you are a millionaire or a nepo baby if that's your worry
Pro
Nobody can answer what a reasonable budget should be for you. There are too many factors, including whether you live at home, have zero expenses and don’t care about retirement vs You live alone, have a bunch of student debt, and supporting your gf/bf.
in the former, you could blow your entire salary with little consequence, versus the latter where you probably shouldn’t be looking at a watch.
Pro
If you want a conquest, get one. You can probably get a decent discount going second hand/grey.
Don't worry about other stuff, you're buying a wind up toy - the most important thing for emotional purchases is that you like it.
