Any advise on how to deal with a Director that will say something today and turnaround the next day say something else which contradicts what they previously stated; followed by a Manager who has selective memory and is retroactive!😩 The company is great but the current management is just not working for me. In my book, I call it unnecessary stress.

Anyone struggling with imposter syndrome? When I worked for a very well known Fortune500 tech company I couldn't help but feel major imposter syndrome. One- I am a woman in a male dominated industry, I didn't go to a prestigious school like most of my peers and I just didn't think I deserved to be there. Everyday was a struggle and tried to keep myself small so no one would find out I was a "fraud." Looking back on it now, wiser and more experienced, I realized how detrimental feeling that way

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

When taking an exam for the cpa, is it done on a computer with a keyboard with a numpad and you do all your calculations on an onscreen calculator? Or is it done pencil and paper? What to do with free time after busy season?

Ever since Risk Assurance busy season ended, I feel like I’ve been kind of coasting. I’m still getting all my work done but my utilization is slipping. With CRTs coming up, how worried should I be?

I’m currently saving to have and emergency fund for 6 months worth of expenses. I am also contributing about 20% of my salary to retirement. Any tips on what I should do with the extra I have left over every month?
