Any AI tool recommendations for a small firm? We don’t have a big budget (under $5k). Has to be secure.

My current title is Buyer. I handle the purchasing of the larger categories of direct materials and train any new Buyers. I also manage outsourcing and quoting of raw materials for new business, among other things.

I am looking at taking over capacity planning for manufacturing, while keeping my previous responsibility.

What could I suggest for a new title/promotion? There isn't an existing position that I would be filling, and I want to show career growth on my resume.

Which firms are on FB? Feels like FB is overweighted D and ACN.

Has anyone ever dealt with Geico UM case where they insist that a release needs to be signed? Geico extended our client’s policy limits but wants him to sign a release. We offered to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of funds but Geico said without a release signed, they will not issue payment.

I give my cell phone to all clients routinely. However, there are always 1 to 2 clients who abuse this and it seems as soon as their cases are over I find a new one and it is making me rethink. I hate to do this because 98% do not abuse it and I like being connected to my people. Thoughts??

Going to an office to meet the team and see the office after being offered a position. After much thought I think it is best to stay at my current position for now. How do I go about declining an offer/ask for a day to think about it?

How are 1st year litigation associates dealing with WFH? I’ve been having terrible anxiety/panic attacks, and pretty sure my billables wont exceed 110 for April. I’ve been super stressed about it and don’t know how to move on to May with the proper mindset to make up for as much time missed as possible. Linguistic question, should an associate say "my partner" when talking to a client about a partner? To me this comes off like implying your also a partner, but saying "our partner" sounds weird too...

Working at a boutique transactiona firm. First year did not receive much guidance and made a few errors, one of which could have been a deal but ended up being fine but overall I worked hard, billed hours above target and showed a willingness to learn. Three main partners in the group. I feel like I may have been written off by the one partner, still get a fair amount of work from another and the third has never really given work but has a rep for doing things alone or using seniors.
