Hi. Any idea about the salary at Chanel ?
I’ve been pretty active in HR for over a decade even though I’ll be graduating here in May 22. I’ve been blessed with many opportunities along the way. Is there a META or other FAANG employee in the HR space willing to refer me to a Recruiting position? I’m willing to even interview with you and give you my experience.I have an appbut it’s been sitting for a while. I also attended Facebook (Meta) undergrad recruiting webinar but it was more SWE driven. Facebook (Meta) Microsoft Apple Tesla

If you like being treated like a field hand and want to stay in this position for the rest of your life, it’s the job for you. Low pay, barely any advancement or growth. Many are overworked and undervalued. Proceed with caution, there was a mass exodus for a reason.
I worked there 6 years and would definitely NOT recommend. Agree with Mck1!
be ready to have no opportunity for professional development, be overworked, and gaslit about performance if you set any serious work boundaries. oh and absolutely steer clear of openings in Tampa or i think Phoenix. Those are basically EA farms. You’ll end up supporting 6-10 people rather than normal 2-3. Massive turnover there but they pay so little they don’t care.
Former McK EA out of a service center.
As of Jan 2022: Service center EAs made $50k supported Associate partner or lower and $60k supporting partner level. (Based upon their needs.) the only other variable is if you work an odd shift, they will sometimes add $2.5k incentive.
Having just very recently interviewed, I turned it down mostly due to the offer and the fact I would need to go into the office more often than I would care to at this point since I'm still currently working from home and in a very senior role. They have amazing benefits and only have 35-hr work week, but that would mean you give them 5 hours before you even get any OT if 50 hours+ is the norm.
No, all time spent working is fully paid. The first 5 hours after 35 are straight time, after 40 hours it’s time and a half. Currently we are on a temporary 2x week in office but fully flexible, and eventually all of North America will have a new schedule in place. It’s unknown what the in-office requirement will be, but I expect it to be both flexible and with good reason to be there instead of old-fashioned and arbitrary.
Come to BCG :)
I don’t know what office McK1 is at, but that is the opposite of my experience. We’ve had a few people leave for new opportunities outside, and many that have taken new positions in other areas within the Firm.
It’s more that we were working at 120-150% capacity during the pandemic, and have been adding at every level.
If you are interested apply through LinkedIn. GC is a partner and has an amazing EA. McKinsey is a great place to work but not for coasters. Get out of it what you put into it. Plenty of really great partners like GC. Good luck
A friend just applied as an EA lead in Phoenix. Should she be worried? Are they 5 days in office right now?
