I have 8.9 years of tech writing experience. How much CTC should I be expecting when I join a new company. My current CTC is 20L pa (18.75 (fixed) + 1.75 (variable)).

I interviewed final round with AWS the other day and several others I know interviewed for same job req with same recruiter on same day. Some have already gotten rejections. Is this a good sign? Or just that the panel maybe hasn’t met yet?

If I’m applying for different non tech positions at Google, do I need different resumes? Also they don’t require cover letters but should I still include one?

How common are credit checks for roles in accounting or finance positions? Will high utilization on credit card balances and low credit score be a deal breaker? I’ve been irresponsible and made mistakes, but wondering if I can switch jobs now or if I’m best off waiting 1-2 years and cleaning up my credit first.
