Fascinating, considering they listed a Principal at 5-7 years post MBA...
Salaries are higher than expected given the years of experience
At Tier 1 firms, Principal at 5-6 years post MBA is expected. It’s strict up or out and Principal isn’t the highest level
325-450 base, bonus, retirement
D2 I guess that individual would have to be hired in at SC level from our target MBA programs
Let’s say 6 years no MBA, so individual starts at analyst level
OP tier one firms only hire SCs from top MBAs or direct promote at the same pay band.
Analyst rock star 6 years in would be a SC or manager, so between $170-$250ish after 6 years.
An analyst completing their 6th year would make $260-320 base, bonus, retirement with us. Same as 4th year post-MBA
A strong Analyst with no MBA at Deloitte is probably a first year manager with us at the end of their 6th year. That means ~160k base to begin 7th year. At each year of experience other than directly out of undergrad and target MBA, we’re 20-50% less than MBB and OW
