I have had several rounds of interviews for a role at Visa London office. When I reached out to the HR to check on progress/status after what they called the "final round", they said everything is positive and then set up another round with the hiring manager last week. TBH, that round seemed as if they want to make sure I have understood the job well. And there has been radio silence after that. Any idea how to read this? I have another offer and deliberating if i should just accept that.

Again. Best not to expect a reply at all.
I may be having fun with this, but I'm not trying to be an asshole.
It's just that with the recent political climate and in addition to that everything that's been going on at the firm, nobody will be able to give you a definitive answer to anything. ☹️
Sorry but that's the hard truth. Your best bet is to schedule some time with your HR contact / immigration contact and have an honest conversation with them.
From what I know it can take anywhere between 1-3 months for these people to get stuff done.
