Are you pregnant with your first child? Just asking to know if you’ve pumped at all before or if it’s all new to you because depending on which…my response is different lol
Yes, I’m 9 weeks postpartum and exclusively pump with my spectra s1. I don’t have an over supply so not worried about capacity vs ability to be out and about longer with baby
I work long days in the office M-F and have exclusively used my MomCozy M5s for the past nine months while pumping at work. It gives the same output as my spectra so I stopped using my spectra completely. They’re just great and cheaper than the Willow and Elvie.
I have the MomCozy M5, as well as the Spectra S2, and while I prefer the S2 in terms of output, I like the m5 a lot as a wearable. Like others, I don’t get as much from the wearable as from the spectra, but it works great when I need to pump without being tethered to a wall, like when driving or walking or even doing certain chores (just don’t bend over forward in it 🤦♀️). It’s pretty comfortable, and in a baggy enough shirt, I’ve gotten away with wearing the m5 without looking too obviously like I’m wearing a pump, but I still call them my Dolly Partons.
Also a huge fan of the Momcozy M5 (second baby now, wish I’d had it for my first!) It’s essential for travel, conferences, just driving places on weekends, and I get about 80-90% the output as I do with my spectra. Part of what sold me was that it has relatively fewer parts to clean compared to other wearables, plus the batteries last 4+ pumps for me, so I don’t have to charge them during a full day of travel and meetings.
I’ve heard the same mixed things about Willow and Elvie. Wearables seem to be really person-specific — what works great for one person can be awful for another. I found this breakdown helpful because it explains why people have such different experiences with wearable pumps and what to consider before choosing one: https://breastpumpshub.com/ . Curious what others here have tried and liked.
My elvie I liked initially but felt like my output was less than my spectra as time passed. It seems as my baby gets older the power of my elvie just doesn’t compare to my baby and spectra.
Agree with what others said here!
I have the momcozy wearable that’s $100 on amazon. It was great, but it’s not exactly small or subtle

I loved my Elvie Double but I didn’t use it much because I didn’t finally buy it until I was almost weaning. I’m selling it btw- if you’re interested! Super cheap- just want to offload it!
I have the Imani. If I were to buy again, I have my eye on the eufy
Side note: unpaid reviews - I follow Karrie for all things nursing/pumping

I just got the eufy and have been hearing great things but I haven’t used it yet
Also to add I tried the elvie last baby and hated it. I barely got anything out of it
I love the Elvie, but I’m not exclusively pumping, so had fewer concerns re supply

No experience yet, but I ended up with the Willow Go, which a friend really liked and recommended and was also the top pick for the Strategist and Babylist.

I’ve worn my Elvie at a wedding drinks reception etc without people realising
I used my Elvies for situations where I didn’t want people to know I was pumping (at a baby shower, on the train, at the hair salon, etc). I used Pumpables as my main pump and had a better output than my spectra. Only downside to pumpables is that the flanges are regular flanges but you can hack them with cups.
