I had cholestasis, extreme itching was the symptom, please talk to your OBGYN. We had to deliver in 37 weeks instead of 40 due to cholestasis
Yes you should deliver by 36 weeks , do not delay beyond that.
Keep monitoring cholestasis, don’t take it lightly
This may jot be helpful, but knowing what I know know regarding the gallbladder, I wouldn’t have had mine surgically removed years ago. Look up the Tennant Institute in Dallas Texas and see if you can make an appointment. Also I wonder if you have an iodine/iodide deficiency since that helps with the creation of stomach acid which helps break down foods and possibly help with gallstones in the long run through proper digestion. I wonder if Ox bile is something worth taking since I now have to take that with every greasy meal since I don’t have a gallbladder. And finally, check out the book “healing is voltage.” By Dr.Jerry Tennant of the Tennant institute. Hope that helps
And Dr Berg on YouTube- good source for gallbladder purpose/ecosystem info
Problem is not “gallbladder”- it’s lack of balance in the bile system
Third trimester over here and have had the tests done for both due to a) incessant itching and b) horrible heartburn and rib pain lending to a gallbladder ultrasound. I think the recommendation for pregnant women in third trimester is to wait to address gallstones until postpartum. Regarding the incessant itching, I’ve found cold aloe Vera gel actually helps a bit!
