Lol no
I did a whole “natural look” and locked with setting spray at 2am, right after my water broke. By the time I gave birth you could not tell I’d done a single thing. Those very honest pictures showed me looking like I felt.

Lol I had a baby about 36 hours ago and makeup was not remotely on my mind.
Ok I came here to say this. Like you might be thinking about it now but when the time comes that was not even kind of on my mind. Granted - if you’re someone who has a quick labor then maybe? I was in labor for almost 24 hours

Currently pregnant FTM, but thinking about it not for pictures but because generally as messed up as it is what when you look “better” people/staff treat you better. It’s so sad but it’s reality
Unfortunately this is true
I haven’t delivered yet but I plan to at least put foundation/powder on so my face doesn’t look red and splotchy. I personally don’t see the point in putting mascara, etc on. I feel like it would get messed up and I’d look worse haha
This is correct - I looked like a raccoon .

Totally depends on your delivery and how long you stay in the hospital. I did not.

If you are lucky enough to have a birth that is able to be photographed in that way, that’s awesome but not every birth goes as planned and majority of hospitals don’t allow the actual birth to be photographed at all. ❤️

No, but I did make sure I washed my hair REAL good before my induction because I knew I wouldn’t be washing it for a few days.
Yes, I did this too!
No but I did shower

Nope. But I never wear makeup. Do whatever works for you at the time and makes you feel like the powerful mama you are!

I did - but didn’t matter. I had a 36 hour delivery so by the end it was all off and I looked exhausted anyway. Oh well.
Nope, but you have some time when you get moved to the recovery room after delivery to get cleaned up. I didn’t share any hospital photos (with me in them) outside of me+hubby. Plenty of just baby and baby with dad. I scheduled professional newborn photos about 7-10 days after delivery and that’s when I did make up so I could feel my best.
I had ever intention of touching up my makeup before delivery, but I ended up never having time bc my transition was very short. But then again, I’m glad I didn’t bc I probably would have sweat and cried it off anyway lol
I was getting induced so yes when I got up and started getting ready I did some makeup. The biggest help was that I got those lash extensions that last about a month so even after makeup wore off hours later I still looked and felt glamorous in pics cuz of the lashes. Def doing that again for 2nd pregnancy.

Lol K2 same - induced at 4:30 pm on a Tuesday and delivered 4:30 am on Thursday. No amount of makeup done on Tuesday would have lasted 😂
I might, but am leaning towards no because I don’t want the hassle and to worry about it coming off
Yep… I did but only mascara and I also put on press on nails bc I went into labor a month early and didn’t get a manicure yet. Mascara ended up getting ruined from crying, so would recommend waterproof. Don’t regret it.
Haha I had gotten my nails done about a week before my due date and then I was almost a week late, so they were grown out by the point I went into labor. It’s impossible to plan for!
Not in the delivery room, but I took photos in the recovery room where I put in some eyebrow gel, concealer and mascara (and brushed my hair lol).
I’m planning to do brows tinting because mine are white 🤓
Why not just go without makeup and then photoshop afterwards? Wouldn’t it be easier for you?
Rising Star
I just put concealer on since my doula photographed most of my labor, delivery, and post
48 hour induction. I was just happy they let me shower midway 😂
