If you have a masters look into the potential tax breaks in Amsterdam. Those are attractive
*For my company which is PwC, therefore probably similarly for the other big4. I know there are some US tech firms there that pay handsomely from a friend of mine who is in IT-sales there.
Come to Amsterdam! Money aside, the people are fab. Just the vibe of the city so gooood, excellent public transport, roads, helpful government, it all just works. Only downside you might observe is people are laid back so admin stuff takes longer than you’d think. Also the rent for a 1bed in Amsterdam is 1600+ (in the city center) and it’s notoriously hard to find housing here. Also 30% ruling and better wlb than London.
Thank you, EY1. Based on my research, I am also tilting towards Amsterdam. I am hoping that my company doesn't prefer London over Amsterdam because of some random reasons. Fingers crossed.
I avoid London at all costs. The COL is astronomical. Not worth it in my opinion.
I can totally understand that. Inflation and salary stagnation are getting worse in central and eastern parts of Europe as well. All I can say is good luck to us.
