Anybody work in the legal department at big pharma? Would love to pick your brain.

Today is my first day back at work (and first full day back in my physical office) after a few weeks off for parental leave. Needless to say, I am struggling to stay focused on anything other than wanting to go back home to my spouse and child.

I know I shouldn't take an emotional temperature on day one, but it has been more difficult being back than I anticipated. Any tips for navigating the waters for the first day/week/month back?

I worked with a company to build a mobile application and I will be contracting with that same company to maintain the app as we go live. I am expecting to deploy next week. In defining the scope of that contract, what should I be sure is included? Any advice would be great.

What’s an appropriate base salary for a pharma marketing DTC Director for a blockbuster biologic that’s on tv? What are typical bonuses and LTI? Spoke to hiring manager and they even offered another position which matched my skills. Scheduled a full panel interview. Met with the team had a great chat, Founder even said "I guess you can start right away"..Hiring manager calls later says they'll update then boom that generic email hits my inbox. At this point you're just like arrrrrrgh😩
