I had quite the day the other day. Coustmer comes in and then ends up leaving with a grossed out look on his face just for him to put in a complaint about my appearance...he down right called me some nasty things for no reason. Still feeling gross about it. He was upset for no reason as far as I'm concerned.

It is sad to think that there are customers like that, that without any reason they discredit us and even make us feel bad. But friend don't feel bad, those who have a problem are those customers, not you! I am with you

Dealing with awful, bitter "humans" is sadly just a part of the job. It's up to us to build a tough skin and let their attacks slide off our minds. I know it's not fair, but it's not illegal to be a douche and some people take full advantage of that. Stay strong friend!

I know it's hard to let go and forget moments like that. No one expects to be verbally abused by strangers but its the sad reality of being in our line of work. Chances are some other sad soul will come along to disrespect you or your coworkers so you need to develop your tolerance for their BS and not take those incident personally. At the end of the day, it takes a special kind of pathetic person to act like that towards workers and you shouldn't be concerned with the opinions of people likt that

This isn't the first time this has happened to me. Sadly being a person of color as well as being out as LBGT as well as pins on my gear. My team is here to back me up and im not taking it to heart im more shocked then anything. Good to have a great team behind you.

I'm glad you've got a great team but I'm so sorry there are still people like that out there :/ No one should ever have to deal with behavior like that.

Bigotry is a zero tolerance offense for me. If someone exhibits this behavior toward my staff, they get 86'd for life.

Love this! Shout out to great managers who look after their team.

So sorry to hear you were mistreated, people like that are just spiteful, ugly on the inside, and dissatisfied with their own lives, please don't take their words to heart. You're a beautiful person deserving of love <3

The fact that someone would choose to say horrible things about others speaks more to their own character than it does to yours. That person is probably bitter and devoid of honest love in their own life. If anything, we should pity them for that.

Some individuals out there lack basic people skills and weren't raised to be considerate or respectful of others. Sadly, the rest of us decent human beings have to deal with them and put up with their entitled selfish attitudes. Sorry you had to go through that. I can't imagine what terrible things they said about you but I know you're not deserving of any of it. You got this!

Keep your head up! Miserable people just want to make others feel the same way

Some unlucky souls out there never got taught how to embody love and be empathetic with other people. Sorry you came across one of these misguided individuals.

I’m sure you’re beautiful

Check the overtime laws for your state!!

I just recently worked 58.6 hours in a week, weekly pay, nice OT profit right? Depends on where you live.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.
