Nope. I applied in the US. Didn’t hear anything back yet. When I contacted the group, they stated they were targeting late February/Early March for interviews but there were no guarantees. I think Europe is suppose to be after in timeline if I remember correctly.

It’s no big deal. I’ll try somewhere else. Pretty much all my friends and classmates who applied with me got rejected. Not sure what they were looking for and they wouldn’t provide feedback when I sent them an email.

What are realistic expectations for 3rd Year Analyst / Direct Promote Associate bonus range at a BB? Note that at MS, 2nd year bonuses in my group last year were 90-115K, while MBA associates received a pro-rated 90K stub (~40k). Personally would be pretty unhappy to take a pay cut between 2nd and 3rd year…

I'm not hung up on PE/buy side exits, not closed off but nbd. Would be just as happy to stay and make MD (or exit into corp dev if I want an easier life when I'm older)

My dilemma:

I'm at a LMM investment bank. Can get crazy sometimes, but otherwise chill. Typically done around 7-9 pm, had maybe three 1 am nights. Haven't worked a weekend in over a month. Fridays almost always done at 5 pm.

Have an offer at a reputable MM bank but probably pretty sweaty. Worth the move?
