I’m in contact with all of the leading headhunters (e.g., CPI, ratio, amity, hsp, DSP) that handle most of the top consultant friendly firms, and they email about ops and send my resume, but I just get a limited amount of interviews. I start my new job as a system designer next week. I love design systems but I have never been in a role where it’s the only thing I do.

So after a period of burnout, leaving and healing, i am ready to get back at things and i got two offers. Similar money (both pretty good) but one is a startup and the other a scaleup. Startup is 30 people, pre series A, lots of freedom to run the show, cool innovative product. Scaleup has interesting product, and id run one of the growth areas, some good people with interesting backgrounds too, series C. I come from corporate (public, +2000 people). Any thoughts for me? How wrong to have preferences for a certain breed of dog over another just because, for example, I have had Golden Retrievers patients much more aggressive than Rottweilers. Not everything should be written in stone, other breeds of dogs are also worthwhile.

I never realized how badly some of the staff at animal shelters treat people who are forced to surrender their pets. Chances are the owners already feel awful about it, I don't know why anyone would feel the need to make it worse

Hello everyone! So my dream job is to work at a veterinary office and I wasn’t able to go to college for it due to my financial issues and I still have that issue. I wanna get my foot in the door of any vet office I live in Maryland and I will start out as anything I just don’t know where to start.
