Anyone had to submit to a background check through Sterling? Do those typically take a while? Feels like mine is taking a long time and I'm anxious to give notice to my current employer ASAP, but don't want to give it too soon in case the check takes a long time.

Yes, many companies use Sterling. I went through them with 2 different Companies, mine typically took a week before it came back. Reach out to them and see what the hold up is. Sometimes they are waiting on information such as pay stubs or tax records, if that is the case you can provide to them instead of waiting for the employer to provide to Sterling.

Need some advice here. I am a fullstack developer with 5 yoe in Angular and Python. My aim is to crack FAANG companies.Now I got an offer from HSBC in a credit risk model monitoring role using Python.It is close to a data engineer role.
