Make a checklist with boxes that are easy to check (like ‘wake up’ or ‘have lunch’) and check them whenever you do it.

Give freebie advice/work so people who need it so they can be thankful, and think of you when the next opportunity comes up.
I’ve gotten a lot in my career by being genuinely helpful and being generous with my time. It makes them feel a bit guilty and want you to succeed because of the amazing value you provided.
Also a networking strategy.
As the saying goes... Relationships are like a bank account. You need to give before you can take.
And feeling useful will give you the confidence to find that job. People can smell desperation, so looking busy and fulfilled is very attractive for people who hire. They want some of that!

Try to figure out what your "purpose" is.
If don't have anything more meaningful than, "to pay the bills," it's gonna be hard not to lose motivation at something so effort + time consuming.

It’s 100% true that connections matter. I was in a similar place to you a few months ago but I just kept looking at who I knew at companies I was interested in. Also before I applied to any job I saw if I had a connection there and had them submit my resume internally - it’s much more likely to be read and for you to get a call then. Even if you think you’ve exhausted all your friends/acquaintances, think again. Do you have family that can make a connection for you, etc...
Indeed app, LinkedIn jobs app, put your LinkedIn jobs alert thing to actively searching to let recruiters know. On your way to work, just browse and save the jobs you like and apply later. If you’re ballsy, have a pdf of your resume on your work laptop and just apply.
