Yes, I moved from one large agency to another and ran an award winning account for a few years. I’m lucky enough to not look like I’m in my 40s.
Did it a few times. Awesome life experiences. Just go with the flow. See the challenges as learning opportunities. Fun but still not for everyone. At 50 I started my own shop. Not perfect but a lot of fun too. Don’t think too much and go for it. Plan a bit, live in the moment, consider opportunities and embrace change. You’ll be fine.
Apparently no one cares about this bowl, but in case you're still considering it 36 weeks later... I did it. Twice in 3 years. Extremely stressful with 2 kids and no job. But did eventually land a gig both times. Don't think I wanna do it again without a job in place!
I did it. It can be done!

I did it 4 times, Toronto, Chicago, Paris, London. Most incredible experience other than moving pets. Company must take full responsibility for everything.
Just did it at 50. It’s a ton of work but worth it if the move creates positive force in your life. Not convinced most companies feel they “must take full responsibility” especially if you are going to another agency. My new agency graciously offered a moving allowance which ended up covering 75% of the cost. Plan for the unexpected - both good and bad but go into it in the spirit of adventure. After all that’s the spirit that keeps you young
