Moved to Canada in 2018 after over 10+years of work ex specialist in ALS OPERATIONS. I was an operations manager in one of the big 4s and moved to IT and now in aerospace.

Still want to get back in O&G, but struggling to find a decent role and position in Canada or USA.

Will be helpful if there are any leads coming in for ALS Engineer/ sales&marketing/ business development/project manager or engineer/ operations manager.

Thanks

I am feeling hopeless. I’m a tax senior been through 4 busy seasons with Deloitte. The tax I’m in is pretty niche and I kinda wanna leave tax all together since I wanna start a family and personally can’t do it with another busy season. I don’t know who is willing to hire me because I feel pigeonholed. I’m just hating every moment with this firm right now. Any advice on what positions/companies might be best to look into?

Thanks everyone.

I just left a Big 4 firm to Fund Accounting in hopes of better WLB, but now it’s looking like the hours will probably be even worse (60/70+ average weekly) throughout the year. I feel like I was misled during the interview process regarding the workload. Would it be a bad idea to try to return to my firm or another accounting firm? Another industry job? How bad is it to leave a job after just starting? Any advice welcome!

Hi Fishes!

I am currently working on SAP CPI,PIPO,CPI-DS (basically Integration as a whole) development (also attend Support issues regularly) with experience of around 1 year. My leads are quite happy with my works.

For career growth, what shall be my ideal path ahead?
1. Only concentrate on Integration
2. Continue Integration for some years, then switch to Functional modules (in this case, after how many years should I ideally switch)

And what shall be the ideal time to switch companies?
