Fund Accounting is one of the best laid plans of mice and men specifically because most people who work there, both at the staff and management levels, are former Big 4.
As a result, it tends to be one of the worse industry exits from a WLB perspective.
I’d boomerang if I were you if you liked your old firm. It’s a tale as old as time and super easy to explain on a resume. Even if you go to another firm, you can spin it as “being a better fit for PA culture” in the most flavorful Kool-Aid fashion.

It’s not bad at all, do what’s best for you. Just don’t make it a habit of having too many short stints on your resume.
Those FS exit opportunities at hedge funds or PE firms can be just as bad as public hours wise.
If you don’t mind IA, go for IA at a bank for WLB.

Just leave and no need to list this company on your resume
Never go to an administrator, terrible hours and thankless work. Also moving further down the food chain.
Yea it called boomerang when you leave your firm and then go back. It’s common enough to have their own term.
