Blue Nile was great. Very fair, great diamond.
Depending on where you live, I’d go to the jewelry district in your city. If you live in Los Angeles, I can give you a great recommendatiob
Check out Brian Gavin Diamonds. They have incredible cuts and reasonable prices
I recommend blue Nile, top notch!
@D1 here is the place. Ask for Michelle Lee. She is great. Got me a great deal on an engagement ring.

I bought on James allen. I think I didn’t buy on blue nile because it didn’t offer the magnification that James Allen did, and I was already hesitant of buying online. Also fyi if you buy on James Allen, just chat their customer service and ask for a discount.
Blue nile is the best!
Blue Nile is so expensive for the quality. Definitely go with P2s recommendation. Jewelery district is actually really cheap and service is great. I've got you if you're in Denver.
@Pwc2. Where is LA. I need a gift soon.
Hi, if in NYC I have a dear friend who is a fantastic jeweler. He has done engagement rings for many of my friends and family. Lmk if you want his deets.
Tiffany or nothing!
EY1 got a burner for the deets.
Hi. I am such a loser. What do you mean by a burner? Ugh. Sorry!
Can you share here or where can I email you to get the info? A burner would be an email address that you use that is anonymous
If you're in NYC then hit up Suzy B Jewels. Such an amazing person to work with whether it's Suzy or Terry.

They handle all types of jewelry so you older more senior fish can get something nice too.
Hi, sorry. I don’t have an anonymous email account. If you do, send over and I will reach to you. Sorry for the hassle but I promise, you won’t be disappointed. With Tom, you would meet him at his place in Chelsea and pick out the stone (based on your price range and requirements), discuss the setting and he will design it. I went through this with my my brothers when they got engaged and my bros in law for my sister. My mom also had him reset her diamond. Again, apologies.
Thanks guys. I'm in Chicago. Looks like Blue Nile has decent reviews and folks here have good experience.
I'm not sure if I'd trust an unknown jeweler in Chicago (without any solid recommendations).
Rare carat seems to be an online catalog for different retailers (incl Blue Nile). Yadav-jeweler in SF- seems to be popular there. Any experience with that?
