Any good books or suggestions to improve communication skills to speak confidently with executive or leadership. Many times I end up blabbering and having unstructured discussion.
Should I be concerned if my leader heavily refers to urban Myers leadership styles and quotes? I recently learned more about him and started reading his book because I needed to understand my current work culture better... and it’s not jibing with me.
Does anyone have book recommendations on how to develop account management and overall leadership skills in the workplace? Want to improve my client relations skills.
How does buying a book work? What incentivizes clients to stay with the purchaser? Is it just buying a lead list?

Do you have any book/video/whatever recommendations for how to be a good manager/lead? I'm trying to make the transition and get more responsibility
Are there any helpful books/resources/podcast episodes about leadership you guys would recommend?
Recently started a book about politics and the author argues that we (the educated, professional class) are to blame for polarization. Since we are well paid and generally unaffected regardless of who is in power, our positions on issues can be uncompromising. Furthermore, we don’t go out and really engage in campaigns. This is because we’d rather argue amongst ourselves from home. This leads to vacuums where bad actors can take up the mantle of leadership. What do you think about that?
Any recommendations for a “good” leadership book that has helped you? Hard to choose when reading reviews on Amazon, I prefer more personalized recommendations (as personal as it can get on fishbowl). Thank you!
Does anyone have recommendations for thought leaders/influencers in the M&A space? Looking for blogs, books, YouTube videos? Not currently in the space, trying to learn more as I’m thinking about a pivot after a few years in consulting/startups
Any self help books for women who don’t have good relationships (and possibly are depressed and jaded)? Maybe something for courage to lead a life without depending on others

Evangelicals did sell their soul to the false prophet, didn’t they? From Cohen’s book: Trump held a meeting at Trump Tower with prominent evangelical leaders, where they laid their hands on him in prayer. Afterward, Trump said: “Can you believe that bulls--t? Can you believe people believe that bulls--t?”. The cosmic joke was that Trump convinced a vast swathe of working-class white folks in the Midwest that he cared about their well-being, Cohen writes
Leadership books recommendations?
Taking financial in a few weeks and I don't want to get a 73 again. Any tips or areas I should focus on?
I'm 6 months pregnant and I'm nervous about how my maternity leave will affect the dynamic I have with my team. Ladies, how have you overcome this?

That crushing moment at the 11th hour before a proposal is due when the locust swarm of PPDs come in and you have to completely rewrite your entire section 😭
I know we don’t take materials/ IP from former companies, but what about recreating the same framework from scratch? I know the rough structure so I’d be building it but cannot make a better approach.
Looking to pivot from consulting to UX/UI. Is it acceptable to take ~6 months off to build my portfolio and job search? Literally no time to do this with my current job
What are some creative ways that parma companies have approached go-to-market strategy of a new product in the pandemic world, where traditional in-person field force targeting is discouraged? In particular, any ideas for ultra orphan drugs where the revenue potential and thus budget is limited?
Is it just me or does anyone else feel a sense of exhaustion from working this year? My PTO starts Thursday this week (till January 3rd) and it’s taking every ounce of energy to get to the year end finish line right now. Maybe because I see this year finally coming to an end, all the professional goals I set, I’ve hit, and constant working from the moment we get up till late night. And now I’m just done. Grateful for pulling through, but just exhausted. Cheers to everyone!

I believe pros and perks of working at Google are well known but I’d also like to think that grass is always green on the other side. So I would like to know - what are some reasons folks have ended up leaving Google for ? What are the cons of working at Google ?
Any experience with First Advantage background checks? I need to do them for Accenture and was told the process starts a month before the start date (which is when I was planning on resigning as I a have a one month notice period).
However I already received a request from FA to fill in my details two months before the start date. I'm worried they'll contact my employer before I've resigned. It's all an online platform I haven't been reached out to by a person so I can voice this.
My STEM OPT expires in Jan 2024. And my partner recently switched companies so the I-140 process in their new company hasn’t started yet. I still have 2 attempts at the H1b lottery but in case I don’t get it, when should we get married so that I won’t have to separate from my firm?
I have been applying to jobs nonstop and honestly feel so disheartened. I have my MBA with a healthcare management concentration and I even had my resume professionally done. I have almost 4 years total healthcare experience with the last almost 2-2 1/2 years in management. I am ready for a change and looking for a remote job, preferably in healthcare/project/program management. I am even open to entry level healthcare IT. Would appreciate any help!
