Anyone here transfer to UK or any other foreign company after working in the US from the tax service line? I’m curious how that worked out for you and what that experience was like. Did you end up having to take a step down since UK and US tax laws are different? Did it derail your path? Was it difficult to transition? How did you go about it as well?

Dad passed away 2 months ago. I traveled to India and stayed for 2 months, dealt with significant red tape to close his cards, loans, transfer pensions, etc. A succession certificate is WIP for one of his accounts, so mom decided to stay back until it’s done. Most of the successful people I've seen in my office are single or have no children. It seems like there is a correlation between having kids and not being a high performer. I don't think it's on
