When you can’t take it anymore.....
Anytime you want. Be an adult and make a decision
Basically it’s not an issue if you quit between May and October. Before or after that and you’re burning bridges and putting your friends at work in terrible positions to make up for your loss without enough time to replace you.
I used to think that quitting close to busy season was bad form, but given that firms are willing to terminate at anytime and that firms will gladly hire people away from other firms at anytime, I now think that people need to do what's best for themselves. When you're working for a firm, show nothing but complete loyalty, but if you decide you need to change, do what's right for you.
Agree with BDO 4. Our office fired 10 people middle of may. They owe you nothing, and similarly, you owe them nothing.
10 people! You must be in a big office
Not sure I understand the question, how much notice should you give or how many years experience is good? Assuming the latter depends on what you want to do. Want to be a CFO without having to book entries in a general ledger?
Or do you mean what time of year?
