Freelance on the DL. Just never use your work-issued computer, never take on a project that would be a conflict of interest, never work for an agency under the same holding co as your FT job, never tell a soul, and ignore anyone who tells you to check your contract before doing it 🙄; you’re not C-suite.
That’s the key don’t tell anyone. Even working one PST & one EST if it’s freelance it night be just 90 days of long hours. Remote & set up your meals & snacks & coffee for the week. I know multiple ppl with two remote jobs. Especially going into Q4.

I take side projects outside the industry so that I don’t need to worry about getting nailed on a conflict of interest rap. I also look for things I can flexibly do, mainly on the weekends or evenings, or with advance planning for days off from the day job. Fewer options that way, but much lower risk.
I would say freelance is your best but but getting some will be a job itself. I am currently on pace for a out an extra 35k this year , which ain't a full salary but it ain't nothing either.
I’d consider getting a job in something other than what you already do so you don’t burn out. For example, I used to work at a printing press on the weekend. Or a lot of people bartend or babysit.
From experience, bartending won't help with the burnout

Maybe reach out to an employment service for freelance stuff.
Try a platform freelance aggregator… Fiverr? I use them quite a bit.
The pay is bad. You’re competing with lower talent or talent overseas mainly Pakistan. Especially as a new person trying to get clients. This works if you’ve been on fiver for years. Also. I hired others before who told me they pay for ads to be seen.
Can partner look into weekend classes only? Lots of ppl go back to school while working. Especially weekends only classes with maybe one night as well. Even for MBA. So many schools online.
Hunt down app start ups on Instagram and offer to do project work, I know someone who pulls in an extra 50K a year and the projects are fun
