There are many things to talk about here.

Choose the topic wisely. Study your target audience. Search for the successful channel on same topic. See what they are doing consistently.
Branding is important. The video production format shouldn't differ drastically from one video to another. People love branding, be it in the form of video creation, audio narration and so on.
There are topics which are over saturated. It's hard to break in those. Select the topic wisely. Once you select the topic, dont make boring title. The title must be click bait. User would have 5 or 10 options on screen to select from for next video. Your title and thumbnail must stand out in all of them.
Study various Story telling techniques like conflict arc. Youtube algorithm favors the videos where user dont move on to next videos immediately. Youtube measures the user retention per video. Let's say you've 10 minute video and users are going away on 30 second, youtube won't suggest the video to people.
Grabbing people's attention, invoking their curiosity is important. Retaining their attention is holy grail. Look up for Dopamine ladder. You will get the idea.
Use same audio narration voice for all videos. User connects to the voice psychologically. Don't use old TTS. Old TTS sounds more robotic. You may try gemini TTS if you're shying away from using your own voice.
Background music play a vital role psychologically to manipulate the emotions. Of you just have someone speaking on the video, it feel hallow.
One scene usually ranging from 4 seconds to 10 seconds should transition to next naturally along with the narration. Pay attention to transition effects.
The video itself depends vastly on if you're trying to build faceless channel or you've talking head.
Be careful about royalty free music. The sites those offer stock videos and background audios can put copyright claim (this is different from copyright strike). Youtube will share you're 50 percent revenue with whoever has out copyright claim.
Also, you dont get to monetize from day one. There is requirement of 1000 subscriber and total 4000 hours of video watch per channel.
I learnt all these things from my own failures. Spent shit tone of time figuring out things. Hope you can use these guidelines and avoid the failures. All the best!!!
