I need help with my interviewing skills
I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

Find COO mentors and ask them the education/experience path you should take. They will eventually provide you with COO gig opportunities that they're not ready to take.
Great advice. As I’ve never sought a professional mentor (only paid coaches) any tips on approach after identifying someone?
What industries would you be interested in?
I went from food & beverage to financial, to health & wellness, to Saas. And have learned that the industry is less important to me than the role and the culture. I’m wide open to what the next industry may be as the product or industry is simply the medium for relationship and can easily be learned with initial intentional study. But a company in growth mode with 20-200 ee’s seems ideal for the culture I’m looking for.
I'd say just find a role with a firm you believe in and apply. With that kind of background, you'd be a shoo-in!
Thank you! Have been starting that process the last week or so. Cheers
