Hi.. I have received an offer from a consultancy stating for 3 months i will be on their payrol as infosys as client and after 3 months i will be moved to Infosys payrol with permanent wfh. HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. Now HR is restarting my ET as a new employee. I realize I left, but not on bad terms and I am an exemplar and respected employee. Entering my 2nd year as a medical malpractice (insurance) defense litigator. My billables are 2200 per year, even during WFH and COVID while the courts are moving very slowly. Any advice as to what I should look into for an exit? I can’t hit those billables while maintaining my sanity.

My company is actually pretty damn great to work for. So many love it, but our pay is low compared to the rest of the financial sector, and so when people with great experience come knocking, HR denies them because the ask is outside the price range. So mangy managers are pushing back but damn. Why shoot yourself in the foot like that?

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”. I’m confused because we’re doing the work either way and “spending” in labor/resources.

What is the actual transaction work like at a growth equity firm like Norwest, TCV, Capital G, etc. I’m interested in learning more about minority investments in the $10-$100m range. What is the diligence like, timeline, etc basically, I am curious if this is something only bankers can do/have experience with
