Might want to move into consulting one day with ultimate aim of MBB but also enjoy technical coding work, particularly in credit risk / counterparty credit risk in banking — could use some fresh perspective ; quite confused atm as interested in many things! Recently got my CPA license in August & considering leaving public accounting for Industry. Should I expect my new role to pay for my CPA license renewals/AICPA membership/CPE classes? These things add up &I feel like should be considered when transitioning. Thoughts?

I do enjoy finance as well. Pay is very good so I’m wondering if I should take the opportunity?

I interviewed at KPMG on 11/14 and got a verbal offer the next day but since then waiting to hear from them. Been following up continuously but the partners are not replying it seems. In the meanwhile i have an offer from BT offering 90k for 4 yrs of experience which seems to be fair. I am just unsure whether to accept the offer as I was waiting for kpmg reply as I want B4 on my resume which apparently is a big deal. Is BT also good on resume for future employers ??

If I am searching for an external audit position as a senior associate in public accounting particularly in the healthcare industry what is a competitive wage? Currently I am 1 year in as a senior associate at a top 5 firm and making less than 80k. I do not have my CPA yet but working at it. I have 3 exams left to pass.
