1) Take the boutique role?
2) Ask them to wait? (Will FAANG comp be ⬆️?)
3) Skip both and try to find higher pay+WLB exit opp altogether given my 10 YOE? If so, where do you recommend?

Im a pastry cook with 4yrs experience and the average salary start for this position is now at $22/hr here in vegas, especially in the strip. But cooking/baking is not my passion. So im changing into veterinary medicine and im seeing that the starting rate for a vet tech is around $16-18. Why is that?? Why are people in the vet med industry being paid so low?? Something needs to change. Labor of love aint enough for the people in this job.
