Looking for salary range for Senior consultant role in Wealth and Asset Management business unit at Sia Partners. I've got 4-5 years of diverse financial services experiences, both in front office wealth, back office retirement administration as well as Project Management and Consulting experience in M&A advisory buy/sell side due diligence. Gave recruiter a "minimum" range of 110-120K initially based on Glassdoor... Feel like I undersold after reading up to 145K here? Sia Partners

I always do blazer & button up. Everybody I interview with (Product management/product owner, tech consulting roles) is usually in polo or athleisure. Yes - I feel overdressed, but it's better than coming off as too casual
Tech I don’t think matters as much. I’d say as long as the delta isn’t too great. Ie: if they’re straight up hoodie with graphics, a suit is a little bit off
Depends on the culture but you want to be taken seriously -- dress up and be more conservative. I find that to be safer and people send to take you more seriously.
Just broke into tech and never wore anything nicer than a button up flannel shirt! My interviewers (at big tech and start ups) wore everything from tshirts to hoodies to dress shirts.
I wouldn't ever wear a suit, unless the position/team/company has a reputation for it (for some reason). Fwiw I wore a shirt and a pullover, and it was completely fine. My interviewers wore t-shirts and hoodies, so I can see how weird it would've come across if I was dressed up in a formal suit.
