What’s DDB like these days?
So I just recently passed my CPA exams and I’m now looking for new opportunities. I’m hoping to work at a big 4 firm in tax and possibly connect with anyone working there right now. Please reach out to me, I would look forward to connecting and learning more about potential opportunities. Thanks!EY PwC Deloitte KPMG

I love gallery walks! In some classes, when I know they are a difficult class, I have them do the gallery walks in pairs virtually. I upload the posters into Canvas or Google, and they complete them that way. It’s beneficial for the ones who prefer to work alone as well. You can also divide groups up - have half of them do a certain portion of the walk virtually and then switch off to physically doing the walk. It’s helpful to have relevant and challenging questions to go with each poster. It’s also beneficial to set a timer for the physical walk. 2 minutes for each poster to take minimal notes and then go back and answer questions on their own.

That’s clever. The timer works only so much. It is still a gaggle of kids clustered and copying the crap.
Controlled chaos is right
My students are in a socially and economically challenged area so I find gallery walks very beneficial when I’m introducing a new literary concept that involves literature from another culture or ethnic group or geographic location. I use the walls, file cabinet sides, display areas to set up artwork, articles (excerpts), native language samples (if available), photographs of structures or monuments, maps of the culture/group/location and a set of questions that students must answer as they tor the gallery walk. I will allow students to work with a partner IF the class meets behavioral expectations; those classes not meeting behavioral expectations are given questions about a select number of the items that are easily visible from their seats or the display board.
Please note that the gallery walks are not conducted early in the school year because I will not know which classes are responsible enough to handle a true “walk”.
I hope this gives you an alternate perspective.
Try it. It will work.
Love them! I like to do “annotation walks” students have a text and around the room are posters that ask things like “most interesting part” “a question I have” “a connection to my life” and students copy from the text and write on the posters, kids loved it when I did it this year
100% They can be chaotic but I think it's so useful to get students up and out of their seats. It's novel, so they can remember things better because it's a unique experience.

In my experience they remember the experience, not the actual content.
