Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

PD at the school level is what administrators want, not what teachers actually need. New systems operations? No PD. Preparing multi subject lessons? No PD. Walking students in a line? PD!
The PD does not align with teachers’ instructional or subject needs. I do realize that some teachers need classroom management PD, too, but those are not presented. What we get are games to play and discipline legerdemain.
I do. I don't count district PD towards my renewal. I pay for the PD I need and if I'm short in an area then I use those district hours.
I pay out of pocket for mine every renewal cycle. I don't count system pd because of this reason, it does cost me extra money but I am also receiving relevant pd for me.
The schools always say it is the teacher's responsibility to maintain their licensure here. So, I maintain mine and keep record of my own pd for renewal.
Interesting idea!
