I have a contact who is a hiring mgr at a company I want to work for. He told me he has an open role for me and set me up with 6 interviews over a 2 week period. They all went really well and HR said I’ll most likely be moving forward to a site visit. But now my contact has ghosted me. After I made 3 outreaches he had his aa schedule time for two weeks out. Why am I being iced?

I have significant equity in a property (300k+) and maybe another 200k across other properties. I have a decent amount of money in cash and already 200k or so in stocks. Venting a bit: Are you finding DEI groups at work overrun with allies. Is there also an increase in celebrating said allies? Is it just me?

Most of the groups I'm in (esp. event teams) are being taken over by allies wanting to do what they think should be done to 'celebrate' whatever topic the month is, usually speaking over marginalized coworkers and rarely consulting with them. It seems like the only time this doesn't happen is for gay (usually yt) men or BHM. I'm just feeling so...minimized.
