Joining Google soon - any good books/tips on doing well in Google/a tech environment in a non-technical role?

I am a recent graduate from University of Leicester looking for SoC analyst roles , I have a question does being SoC analyst be considered a High clearance Job in the United Kingdom ? , Because all the Job role I have applied for the recruiters have been asking for clearance. Could anyone shed some light how I need to answer them or any tips would be greatly appreciated .

Does anyone work or run a satellite office? I’m in a role where our satellite office has no designated leadership that sits regularly with HQ decisions makers. It’s me and an ECD expected to run the day to day with no visibility into the network. We routinely get agency decisions rolling down to us without guidance on how to implement. I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. There are a few real estate positions available that i think i would be perfect for. Background - Head of Special projects at a real estate developer (building data centres and tech hubs), former McKinsey EM, MBA from London Business School, IB real estate experience and CFA

Once you’ve applied via referral link to a position, does it keep you in a referral pool or do you need to constantly get a new referral link if you apply to another role say 4 months later? Curious since they only last 30 days and i feel bad asking for a link a 3rd time now…..
