Are there any firms that have 4x10 or 3x12 schedules? If so, what roles usually get those?

4 x10s and 9/80s (1 Fri off every two weeks) are common in the defense contracting business. Big ones like Lockheed, Boeing etc. and even smaller companies in the similar vein I know use these schedules. May vary a little by department though. You may also see schedules like this in unionized roles.

Ah yes the realization that life and family is more than money, very soft

I am sure there are but I haven't heard of them. None of the firms I have worked at offered that, though I wish they did. You could always try to negotiate that into an offer though.

Amazon warehouse management does 4x12, L6 operations managers make $160k+

I wish

I’d love a 4x10. I wonder how it would work in finance with the cyclical nature of close and other stuff

M&A/PE associate (trying to juggle multiple deals) feeling like I don’t have time to dive deeper into issues and it being highlighted in some of my work product as I am having to turn things right away and just pushing things out - so issues I may have caught if I had a better/deeper/higher level understanding are more apparent when partners review. Truly feeling like I’m just messing up all around but trying to give myself grace. How do you know if it’s just you or a part of the process?

Can anyone please share the exact address of the AMEX Bangalore office location?!

People who are happy that the office is dead should reconsider. If the office is dead wouldn't that mean more outsourcing and less TC forward? Isn't it short sighted to think jobs will stay in the US if they are remote considering how expensive it is to hire here?

Currently work in a very unique Wealth Management ops role.

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.

Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?

Should I decline the offer and ask to be considered for a higher role that better fits my qualifications? The offer I had was with a great bank but I'm overqualified for that. Its been hard to find a job because I dont have prior experiences.

Hey all! I have an interview with
Deloitte in Regulatory Risk and more precisely in their Investment Management Services team. I would like to know if anyone
knows what the job entails exactly. I keep hearing about people "fooled" into taking a job in risk advisory thinking it'll really be advisory while they only end up doing IT and Audit support (which I do not want to do).
Is it the case here?
Thanks!
