There are roles at EY that have a high degree of travel. Get on a global client or become a specialist in a specific industry or technology, and you will travel a lot.
Yes - if you work for an accounting firm there are tons of opportunity to travel consistently. You do have to make it known that you want to be on projects where you travel a lot, as post Covid even the accounting firms are executing projects in a heavily remote manner.
In house IA at companies with lots of locations may have more travel opportunities, but they are very unlikely to be traveling all the time due to budget.
Yes. Travel for me went from every week to every other, but still a lot. If your group staffs nationally, talk to partners in other regions and see if they can get you on some travel engagements
