I have a total 9+ work ex in Devops and Release Management. Did an executive mba with a goal of breaking into Program management but got recruited into Management Consulting . In this company for the past 3 months.
I feel that my overall skills are better off in a TPM/Program Management role.
My overall experience makes me eligible for most PM roles.

Hey Sharks, I joined in verizon india last april, i got moved to new project at july end. I have 2.5 years of experience in java,springboot, Micrservices architecture. But in my new team deployed in a support project. Feeling depressed and frustrated. asked manager 2 times to change my responsibility. But he's accepting in call but not doing what he is promised. Yes, you’re expected to pretend this layoff is nothing, put on a smile, act like everything is perfectly fine, hand over KTs to your team or whatever vendor replacement shows up, and then quietly fade into the sunset. That’s VDSI for you. The brutal truth is, no one will give a flying F about what you’re going through. The moment you’re out, you’re just another empty chair to them. Everyone around you looks ‘concerned,’ but deep down they’re just relieved it wasn’t their turn. Their smiles say it all, your loss is their reassurance.
My friend who is impacted said mail mentions that they are not expected to work in their notice period. Just be available to be contacted to collect devices and all.

What is the severance pay?
It's pretty clear why you were let go. Instead of using your 3–6 months of severance to regroup and find a better opportunity like many others do, you've spent most of your time complaining and feeling sorry for yourself. If you had put even half that energy into taking real action, you probably wouldn’t still be stuck in the same place.
