But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐

They have a list of states from which they will admit tourists while also requiring a negative covid test, health history, etc. As someone not on the approved list, I am bitter and curious why the population is grouped at a state level when there are massively different rates of infection within each state (not to mention personal responsibility) and you are already required to present a negative test. I am struggling with imposter syndrome on a daily basis but manage to get great feedback from the creative directors continuously but still feel the same way. I was put on a creative brainstorm and my ideas seemed so misaligned with everyone else's but the designs I did the client liked and I think we are moving forward with. Where does the role of art director begin and end? New to agency life. Any advice?

Hola Art Directors! Has anyone taken a great online photography class? I’m looking to gain a better understanding of what happens on the other side and communicate with photographers and directors better.

Any other ADs feel like our roles are starting to become just glorified graphic designers? Nothing against GDs I started as one but wanted to move into art direction cause I wanted to come up with 360 campaigns and make tv spots not resize banners and and make IG story posts.

Is it a dead in to go in-house early in your career? And is it doable to go back and forth between agency and in-house opportunities?
