If this isn't just a one-off project that is requiring additional hours, I would address it ASAP to set those boundaries early on. But if you are just wrapping up a project and it's requiring a little extra time but just for the time being, I wouldn't be as quick to address it.
Good advice
How long have you been in this position? I negotiate a raise every year. Sometimes I get what I ask for, sometimes I get a lesser raise. But I wouldn't negotiate yet if you've been there less than a year. I would talk to them about workload though

Do you have an annual review process?
I would definitely bring that up to ask for a raise. That is the thing that sucks about being a salaried employee. They always give you way more than you can get done in 40 hours.
