As workers, should we be resisting AI and technological advances? I feel like no matter what we do, it all happens anyway. It almost makes me feel helpless, hearing stories about the data centers and the havoc it’s creating, and the loss of jobs due to tech and AI replacement. But also, technology has made many positive impacts as well, including creating some jobs. It’s been almost like a catch 22

22 years old and currently focused on using my left over income to invest and pay off my debt. I am set to pay off my college loans by next year and, when I do, I want to look into investing into real estate. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get into/learn more about real estate investing? Or how I can have enough knowledge on the topic to be able to invest wisely when the time comes?

Any books? youtubers? etc. How did you all learn about it?

Does anyone here work for any public accounting firms in the Charlotte area with a decent work life balance? I am looking to go somewhere where I can focus on a few clients for longer periods of time rather than constantly bouncing around. I find it much less stressful to put in longer hours if it's a client that I have been scheduled on long term.
