I’m a Junior product manager with a Master’s in Healthcare Management. I feel like the current company that I am at has my title as JPM, but I am doing PM work i.e creating product roadmaps, collaborating across stakeholders (business, marketing, design teams), creating user stories/features, etc. and I feel like my work isn’t being valued and I’m constantly being micromanaged by business teams expectations.

How feasible is it for me to apply to a PM role with less than a year of experience?

I'm trying to figure out how to pivot out of my current job. My department is in utter chaos, which has just become completely unmanageable. I'm looking for front-end web design work, and work from home. I am a strong designer and basically set up landing pages for large companies on a proprietary CMS in our company. If anyone knows of places I could apply? I'm not trying to reinvent myself as I do artwork on the side and would rather grow that business and get out of the chaos of fortune 500.

Got laid off. Just started at the agency. Was so excited because it’s a great shop. Now what?

How do I be a decent manager to a coworker who's upset I've been promoted twice in two years and they haven't? We started out as coworkers, became decent friends after a few good moments, but went back to simply coworkers after they flubbed a few projects and I had to step in to clean up. Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .

Has anyone received a job offer after being initially ghosted by recruiter? How long did you not hear from them? Feeling down after not hearing anything for 2 weeks after a round of seemingly promising interviews.

Is anyone else having trouble just BEING back at the office… for a full day? Even if it’s hybrid. It’s like driving me insane just sitting here in silence and making small talk from 9-5:30. I feel so trapped.
