We review each one manually.
Should add 20k employee company. Part of larger 80k employee holding co. All recruiters review each application.
We review each of ours manually as well. I feel like sometimes when people use software to screen candidates they miss out on good candidates because the software filters their resumes out.
Agreed. Also a ton of resumes that apply for 1 role might be better for another that is about to be posted, or already is and the applicant didn’t see it. I don’t know of any tech that can screen resumes across multiple openings!
Interesting to see how much manual review is still the go to, even at large companies. I get the concern with software, but I wonder if there’s value in tools that help compare candidates more fairly by considering their background and context.
I’m working on something called case (candidate select) Scores that tries to support that. Curious about what you think... Could something like that help, or do you feel manual review is still the most reliable?
