I switched recently. One thing I learned: never keep your hopes up based on a single interview—just keep giving interviews. Many times you’ll get rejected even after a very good interview, and sometimes you’ll get selected after a quick 30-minute average interview. It all depends on the requirement, relevant experience, location, DOJ, budget, etc.
For example, a company may be looking for a 9+ years profile but still interview 6+ years candidates. Even if your interview goes well, you may not get selected due to the requirement. Sometimes positions go on hold or get dropped completely. I even got a call from HR a month after an interview I thought I had failed, and they offered me the role because the requirement reopened. So don’t judge your chances based on one interview—just keep going.

Prepare for another interview. Sometimes we feel that everything went very well, but unfortunately everything depends on the interviewer. Also it might be possible that they found someone better than you after interviewing with other candidates.
One last time just drop an email and call HR to ask the status. If not then apply for other companies.

I have faced the same. They are making fake interview. I faced at Kokapet Cognizant Branch interview. Maximum they are rejected
Nowadays interviews are happening but they are not moving forward. I think immediate joiners are preferred more now.
One person with 7 days left for notice also rejected
For me, both the L1 and L2 rounds happened on 27th June for the Cognizant opportunity in the Bengaluru location. After the L2 round, the Cognizant POC asked about my current CTC.
The HR had mentioned that they would call me on 29th or 30th June regarding the next steps, but I have not received any final update yet. The HR is saying that they are still waiting for feedback from the management team.
Has anyone else attended the L2 round on 27th June for the Bengaluru location? Have you received any updates regarding feedback, HR discussion, or offer status?
